Anytime you think about brands you know, there is a chance you could recall the brand name and even the slogans for their campaign. These days, almost every brand comes up with beautiful slogans that would make a lasting impression in the hearts of their target audience.

Nike – “Just Do It” (1987)

During one of the interviews of Dan Wieden, he revealed how the “Just Do It” advertisement and the slogan were based on the last words of Gary Gilmore who was a murderer from Portland, Oregon, as he was about to die in front of the firing squad.

He typically said, “Let’s do it,” but the co-founder was not really into this slogan, so Wieden assured him that it would do it. Later, ad campaign magazines stated the slogan was “the best tagline of the 20th century.”

Apple – “Think Different” (1997)

Immediately this slogan followed Apple advertisements everywhere, and everyone knew the Apple brand wasn’t just an old computer brand. It was user-friendly, powerful, and unique. It made the other computers on the market seem mundane. Forbes stated that after the campaign, Apple’s stock price tripled.

Disneyland – “The Happiest Place On Earth” (1955)

Generally, business plans that are made have a way of telling the world the promises and the values of the brand successfully. This is what happened with Disneyland’s “The Happiest Place on Earth” slogan. People come from all over the world to experience the childlike magical promise from Disney.

This company has made the most beloved characters from their cartoons into an amusement park, and it has a record of winning the highest number of Oscar nominations and awards throughout its journey from those movies. Its theme park, founded in 1955, brings together people of all ages worldwide, making this place truly the happiest place on Earth.

KFC – “It’s Finger-Lickin’ Good” (1950s)

This popular KFC slogan came along by accident. It happened when David Harman from the franchise was caught eating chicken during the shooting of a KFC TV commercial, and an audience member started complaining to the TV station saying that Harman was licking his fingers.

As the story continues, the manager stated the chicken is “finger-lickin’ good.” No one knew then that it would become one of the most famous campaign slogans for the business.

Coca-Cola – “Share A Coke” (2014)

This campaign wasn’t an easy one. The Coca-Cola company created more than 250 different bottles using the most popular names to make this campaign work. Because of this, customers wanted to find bottles that had their names on them. Also, these customers were asked to share their stories using the #Shareacoke hashtag.

Though the campaign first launched in Australia in 2011, three years later it released its first TV advertisement using this slogan. Throughout the years, this Coke campaign has evolved using new flavors, names, and lyrics.
