What We Love About the Chewbacca Dog Commercial from Samsung

Lots of people love this Chewbacca dog commercial, which was brought to us all by Samsung. It shows kids using intelligence how they can make their parents and guardians annoyed with them. In the ad, the Korean phone maker offers the device connectivity glories. As a result of a Chewbacca dog, an irritated dad, and a Darth Vader cat.

Not everyone likes this ad though. But we love the fact that these days, young kids get most of the things they would like. Some viewers stated the ad was annoying. Some started saying that we all get to suffer from helicopter parents.

But this ad shows us that not all kids resort to being whiny to get what they want. Some kids settle to work and earn the funds for the items they would like to have.

But Samsung tells us that there are more imaginative routes with which you can get whatever you would like.

The Chewbacca Ad

First step

Make sure there are lots of Samsung devices all around the house.

Second step

When your parents don’t give in to what you want to, disturb their Samsung screens with whatever you want. Cause as a kid, that’s quite easy.

The Apple-like device connectivity message is displayed here using the Star Wars theme for the background.

A person wears her baseball cap at the back of the house, and she wants to adopt a dog that resembles a Chewbacca.

She wants to do this because the dog is at an animal shelter and is a famous dog on the internet.

What other reason would a kid be interested in a dog?

Her dad doesn’t quite care about having a Chewbacca dog at home.

So the daughter keeps stressing her dad and even sends a photo to the dad’s computer.

When that does not work, she sends the photo to her dad’s Galaxy watch. As her dad is sleeping. She would think she’s thoughtful, doesn’t she?

In the end, she cuts off a soccer match on TV with a dog photo.

Why would any place on the planet give this selfish child a dog for crying out loud?

She continues to stress her dad. They both go to the shelter but sadly the dog isn’t there anymore. He has already found a place he shall call home.

But right then she likes a Darth Vader cat.

Everything was all done. The daughter looks a lot like young Kylo Ren. These two pets are winning.

One could think about this as to make those you love so angry till they give you exactly what you desire.

What We Love from this Ad

Samsung believes this ad talks about simple connectivity between all Galaxy devices and this brings us all together to what we all admire and care for.

Those that would really like this ad would be young kids. I’m sure parents would try their best to limit their kids from seeing this ad. But we think it’s pretty clever.
