Ads that Have Honored Healthcare and Frontline Workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic really drained the entire world and halted a lot of activities. However, one activity that kept on going was the healthcare provision. Health care providers and front-line workers have been the superheroes of the year. We have risked their lives, stayed away from home, and some even lost their lives during this pandemic.

The entire world appreciates them and there have been advertisements that honored their efforts in bringing life back to normal. In this article, we are going to be looking at some of these ads and the companies or people who put them out.

This ad was done by Degordian and was published on the 8th of August 2020. It is clear and concise and completely nails the fact that the more we stay apart from one another, the easier we make the job of healthcare providers.

2. “Celebrating those who serve – Nurse Eagan”

This ad completely describes and appreciates the efforts of healthcare providers and Frontline workers. Although it was directed at a single healthcare worker, Nurse Eagan Sithole, it still passes the message across that every healthcare worker out there is highly appreciated.

The ad was posted on the 3rd of August 2020 by the South African agency network Joe Public.

3. “Courage is beautiful”

In the course of this video, we see where health workers and Frontline workers are duly appreciated for their courage and efforts towards curbing the spread of the virus as well as treating people who already have the virus.

This ad was put out by Dove, the cosmetic company and it’s one of the best coronavirus ads this year.

4. “The power of teams”

Microsoft takes part in appreciating police officers and health care workers for working together through these hard times to ensure the safety of the citizens.

5. “One team”

Another team-themed ad but, this time, by Budweiser. This also appreciates the effort of front line workers as well as medical practitioners risking their lives and sound health day in day out to ensure that the deadly disease is curbed so that everyone can go back to living their normal lives.

6. “Stay home of the whopper”

In this ad made by Burger King, we are reminded that health workers stay at work for us and so we ought to stay at home for them. The lesser the recorded cases, the easier their jobs, and the sooner they have to get back to their families. Burger King really hit the nail on the head with this one.
